iPhone Officially Releasing June 29th
That is right the date has been set and is official. On June 29th 2007 the mobile market will shift into overdrive with the release of one the most advanced mobile phones ever, the Apple iPhone. Right now, your best option is to head over to AT&T's site and sign up for the iPhone email alert at the bottom right.

iPhone Pre-order & In Stock Tracker LIVE! - After a few days of getting this iPhone tracker ready, I am proud to say we are now tracking the pre-order and in stock status (when they become available) of the upcoming Apple iPhone.
As of right now, I will only be doing General Page Change Checks. These checks will attempt to alert if sites have started to offer preorders but can be riddled with errors. However, given this minor pitfall, at least you should be made aware of any preorders before any one else when you do receive a correct alert. A minor inconvenience when you are one of the first people holding an iPhone.
Also, if you know of any other places on the web that sell Cingular phones and plans, please use my contact form and send me a message. I will take these submissions, review and ad them as quickly as possible.

Harry Potter Tracker Live! - I went ahead and added a tracker for the new upcoming release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This tracker will notify of when stock becomes available, but more importantly tracks the availability of preorders. Granted there are a lot of stores already accepting preorders, but this page will enable people to compare prices too.
Apr 24 - 10:33 AM
Guitar Hero 2 Tracker Live - I have had many requests to track Guitar Hero since stock has been diminished to nothing, more than likely to fix the errors that went out with the first batch. Not discounting the fact by any means that this game is selling like crazy! At any rate, the tracker is live. How extensive I will go with this tracker is yet to be determined, but currently I am tracking Amazon, Best Buy, Circuit City, and GameStop. And at GameStop as usual, you can place a preorder and reserve yours for when they come in stock if you choose. Check out all of the place and sign up for alerts at the Guitar Hero 2 In Stock Tracker.

Xbox 360 Elite Tracker Live! - Everyone, the Xbox 360 Elite Tracker is now live! Circuit City is already taking preorders, so if you want in now, click here to grab a preorder ASAP before they are gone!
Make sure to sign up for alerts if you want to be notified of preorders as well as stock when it becomes available later this month, April 29th to be exact. As of right now, I have set up tracking for Amazon, Best Buy, and Circuit City.

Black XBox 360 Elite Confirmed - It has now been confirmed by Microsoft that the XBOX 360 Elite will be rearing its head in stores on April 29th. As mentioned prior, the unit will have a 120 GB hard drive, HDMI port and wireless controller. In the next day or two, I will be adding it to the list of items being tracked so we will all be able to know exactly where to get those preorders!

New Black XBox 360 Solidifying - As reported from different sources, a new black version of the Xbox 360 is supposedly to rear its head in the near future. The key features to this new model are the addition of a bigger hard drive of 120 GB as well as the addition of an HDMI port.
The big disappointments to me are the lack of built-in wireless connection and the lack of an HD-DVD player. These two features are essential in my eyes, with wireless networking being most important. I currently do not own a 360, but if this model, in the end, includes wireless connectivity I may buy one.
The HD-DVD drive not being included because of the lack of the format being not proven in the marketplace is kind of bogus statement. I can almost guarantee that if you charted out a comparision between the PS3 release over the Blu-ray becoming the front-runner in the format wars, you would see a direct correlation between the two. To say that HD-DVD is not proven is because it was not given the proper chance. Would including the HD-DVD shift the future of either formats? Probably not, but I would at least be more apt to buying a new Black 360!
Just a few of my thoughts. To read more head over to Gamespot.
And for those of you who will want the new system or even the hard drive upgrade… YES, I will be tracking them both here at NowInStock.net.

Site is Back Up and Runnning! - I had some moderate issues with the DB the last two days. Was killing the site, but I have now fixed it. Everything should be running smoothly again, and the checking scripts should be kicking off very soon. Durring the first few runs of the script, it will probably bog down the server a little, so just hang in there. Sorry for the inconvience, but Sundays are usually dead anyway.

UPDATE: Everything appears to be back up and normal again... glad I knocked on wood. That was quick, hope it stays that way! Site Tracking is Currently Down I have the techs at my hosting company looking into it. It appears that I am having issues with PHP and some code for the remote requests. This is causing me to not be able to check the site's stock status. No idea why this would occur as no changes on my end have been made, but we shall see what they say. Hopefully we will be back in an hour or two. Knock on wood. I really do not hope it is longer. ~Justin

More About Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows...
As you can see above, there are quite a few different versions available for preorder so be sure you are subscribing for alerts to the one that you want the most. Even though you may feel that some of these books are highly over priced, remember you are paying for the book based on your love of the series. Not only do you love the series, but so do ten's of millions of others around the world. Getting the version of the book that costs more than you might be willing to pay now, may be of much greater value in the future. Just a little something to consider.
