Best Buy Wii’s In Stock! Now, Amazon too!
Holy Moly, Best Buy is selling Wii’s for $249.99, snag them up! I am starting to have the sense that Nintendo might actually be meeting demand. Although, last year there was a slowdown over the summer and early fall months, this time it is much earlier and could be a sign of stock outweighing demand. Over 30 minutes later, and the console is still available!
Now at 1:00 EST, Amazon has received them. I guess today is Wii delivery day, as the freighter just docked in Seattle, and the trucks are already leaving the port stocked full.

How long this ship full of Wii’s lasts will determine if supply and demand is met, however, it is very likely they will continue to be hard to find, but not impossible to find as in past months.

I think its probably true that Nintendo is finally catching up with demand. I was at Sams Club last night and actually saw some just sitting on the shelf.

Our house was broken into earlier this week and our Wii was stolen, along with all of our games and accessories. I hope finding anoither one is not as hard as it was at Christmas time. My 8 yr old is crushed I have been checking for three days and no luck so far.

It looks like demand has not been met. It is June now and every place I have checked is completely out of stock. I have not found any indication of when new shipments may be coming in.
