CompUSA Did Have Wii’s
From now on, I will try to post as often as I can to show all you the tracker does work, and you do not get too discouraged. CompUSA did have Wii’s this morning as the tracker showed. In fact, here is a screen shot of what my spiders picked up:
See where it says “Usually Ships In: 1 – 2 Business Days“. While it appears they did have a limited quantity as can be expected from CompUSA, at least they had some.
Hang in there, we will get you a Wii!

I see that on the tracker. I was 5 mins too late. I sure hope I get one this year. My kids would love it.

I received the alert, jumped on compusa, and was unable to add it to my cart. I saw the page that your spiders picked up but it just wouldn’t let me add it …. kept bringing up a page saying there is nothing in my cart and the item is no longer available (something to that extent). Oh well, I’ll keep trying.

I received the alert, clicked on the link that took me to the web page, and was able to add a Wii to my cart. However, I did not have a Comp USA account setup at that time. By the time I entered all my shipping, billing, and credit card information, they were sold out.
Adding a Wii to your cart does NOT reserve one for you. The only time you know you have one is after fully submitting the order.
One piece of advice is to create an account at all the sites, and enter all the ordering information beforehand. That way, the only thing extra you would have to enter would be a password, rather than everything all over again. Every second matters.

So i signed up for twitter and followed instructions but never got a txt message. wonder why it didnt work?

CompUSA is one of the ones that is not currently included in the txt alerts. Only in the email form. Remember the txt alerts are in Beta. I want one more test to go through from one of the big three retailers before I open the doors to all the other alerts.

Timing is everything. I happened to check the Wii page when CompUSA was listed as in stock and successfully purchased one. Thanks very much!

I’m by far not computer savy. Your web site did allow me to purchase a Wii from toys r us this morning. It was very simple. I just clicked on your web site and saw that toys r us had the Wii system available, clicked on their logo and was there. Thank you for your site, it makes even the beginners able to grab a deal.
