Canon has released their first mirrorless camera<\/em> model, the Canon EOS M<\/strong>, combining the imaging quality of a DSLR<\/em> with the convenience of a point and shoot<\/em> in one single body. The small, portable size allows you to easily take it everywhere you go, so you’re always ready to capture the world around you.<\/p>\n

The EOS M is perfect for those looking to upgrade from a point and shoot but not ready to take the leap to a larger DSLR model. Though not quite as compact as a point and shoot, the EOS M is still significantly smaller than a DSLR while allowing interchangeable lens capabilities<\/em> and better optics<\/em> than a built-in lens camera can offer. The Canon EOS M employs an entirely new lens mount not found in other mirrorless cameras called the EF-M. While the EF-M is the proprietary lens line for Canon Mirrorless cameras, an optional lens adapter allows compatibility with the entire line of Canon EF and EF-S lenses.<\/p>\n
