\"EverYesterday I got a request, from NowInStock.net user Michelle, to track the new line of dolls called Ever After High\u2122<\/strong>. At first I thought, who is ripping off Monster High<\/strong>\u2122<\/strong>. Then I saw Mattel was behind the curtain, so I had to dig a little deeper to find the meaning behind this new line. After a little digging,\u00a0I found out<\/a> that Little, Brown Books for Young People<\/strong>, the force behind Monster High, have joined forces once again with Mattel to bring us this new storyline. I also found out there are already a few webisodes out there on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Premise<\/h3>\n

Ever After High<\/strong> contains characters who are the children of well-known fairy tale characters. They all go to the same high school, and they all carry the good and evil labels passed down by their parents. And per Wikipedia<\/a>, characters “…are destined to follow in their parents\u2019 footsteps to keep their stories alive through generations, otherwise their stories will cease to exist. However, one character is unhappy with her destiny and wishes to write her own path. A key theme is \u2018Royal or Rebel\u2019 which is between those who know they will have a happily ever after and those with less favorable destinies or those who prefer the idea of writing their own destiny.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The Book<\/h3>\n

Just like Monster High, it appears these dolls will also be backed up by books. The first book is set to release on October 8th and is called\u00a0Ever After High: The Storybook of Legends<\/strong>.
