Pre-ordering now available for The Walking Dead: Collector’s Edition
Telltale Games' The Walking Dead will be available for pre-order beginning December 4. Two versions are available in both Xbox 360 and PS3 formats: The smaller $29.99 standard version of the game and the robust Game-Stop Exclusive version, The Walking Dead: Collector's Edition, which will retail for $69.99.
The larger Collector's Edition includes the complete game, all five episodes on one disc, along with the first 48 issues of The Walking Dead Compendium One comic in one single book, and a special collector's box with exclusive art from Charlie Adlard. According to Telltale, this Collector's Edition will be "extremely limited" in quantity and will be available only for pre-order. Additionally, the compendium won't be sold anywhere else but inside this exclusive set.
The standard version includes the game only, and is not exclusive to Game-Stop. It will also be available for pre-order beginning December 4.
Be sure to add your game of choice to your trackers, and please remember to enable pre-order alerts, as these items will most likely only be listed by retailers as "Pre-order", and therefore may never show up as "In Stock". And though the sell-out risk on these items is extremely high, there is still a slight possibility that some stock may exist (due to customer returns) even after all the pre-orders sell out. So stay signed up for alerts and you just may get lucky!
