Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Pre-Order Deals… Who Has What?

Friday, October 29th, 2010

November 16th, 2010 is the official release-date for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. We have gone ahead and done the dirty work for you. No more jumping around from site to site looking for the best pre-order deals. In one place, you can see the best deals out there. We recently broke down the pre-order deals for COD: Black Ops, so now we will do the same for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. This time we are going to try and keep it as simple as possible, elaborating only on what needs to be. If you do not want to read all the blabber, then just jump down the page to our pre-order comparison chart.

Amazon Pre-order Deal

Standard Edition Deal: At the time of this writing, the pre-order cost for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is the standard $59.99. This is a guaranteed price, so it will not go up from here and if it happens to drop even more over the next 3 weeks, you will get it at the lowest advertised price until the actual release-date. So where is the deal? Well, pre-order Brotherhood from Amazon and receive a $15 video game credit to be used on any future video game purchase. Also, when pre-ordering through Amazon you will also receive a code to download the exclusive Helmschmied Drachen Armor!

Collector’s Edition Deal: When it comes to the Collector’s Edition of Assassin’s Creed, it will cost you $99.99. There is no video game credit for this edition, however, you will still receive the free code for the exclusive Helmschmied Drachen Armor code.

Shipping Deal: Both editions, standard and collector’s, also have the option to get Release-Date Delivery. Release-Date Delivery costs a mere 99¢! This guarantees you will receive the game on the day the game is released. Regardless of which version you order, you can get release-date delivery for 99¢.

GameStop Pre-order Deal

Standard Edition Deal: At GameStop the deal changes dramatically from Amazon. GameStop is offering pre-orders of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood  for $59.99. You will also receive the ” the GameStop exclusive multiplayer character, Harlequin.”

Collector’s Edition Deal: You receive the same free code for the collector’s edition at GameStop.

Shipping Deal: Like usual there is no shipping deal at GameStop when pre-ordering games through them. The deal is, pre-order the game, and select overnight shipping and they guarantee delivery on release-date. Overnight shipping costs $9.99 plus $1.50 more for each $50 over $75.

Walmart Pre-order Deal

Stand Edition Deal: This time around, Walmart is 2nd on my list as far as best pre-order deals out there for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, but still not close to Amazon. At Walmart, the pre-rder deal is a $10 eGift Card to use online. The pre-order game cost is currently $59.96 from Walmart.

Collector’s Edition Deal: There is no deal for the collector’s edition at Walmart. No eGift Card. No free codes.

Shipping Deal: Like Amazon, Walmart also guarantees release-date delivery and at the bargain price of 97¢. One stipulation is that you must have your order placed 3 days prior to actual release date in order for you to receive this release-date delivery guarantee. This release-date delivery is good for both editions, standard and collector’s.
