T3i In Stock for the First Time Ever

February 25th, 2011

Late yesterday evening, OneCall was the first to release inventory of the new Canon Rebel T3i Kit. Yes, Kit only of course. I am sure the Body only units will take some time. With the Kits coming in at $899, this camera doesn’t seem like it is going to be anywhere near as hot as the T2i was. The upgrades from the T2i model are few, but the LCD size increase is nice, however, the remote flash is almost forgettable at this level. This begs the question… where does this leave the Canon 60D? Aside from a slight increase in FPS when shooting continuous mode, with the 60D at 5.3 frames per second (fps) and the T3i at 3.7 fps, there are no real differences between the two cameras. For $100 more your get a nearly 2 more frames of capture per second! Is the 60D being phased out or replaced? I guess only time will tell.

If by the time you come across this post all stock at OneCall is gone, then be sure to check out our Rebel T3i In Stock Tracker. Register for a FREE account and add items to your account for free in stock notifications!
