Canon 1D X In Stock Tracking Update, Canon 1D C

Thursday, August 9th, 2012

Canon 1D X Update

We have added some new retailers to the Canon 1D tracker. In fact, one of the new stores we recently added, Canon Store, recently had inventory of the Canon 1D X. The other reason we are writing this update is because we have also added Best Buy to the tracker as well. Best Buy has been able to offer inventory to users much faster than other retailers as they have just started selling the professional level DSLR cameras online this year. During the recent and current Nikon D800, D800e, and D4 shortages, Best Buy was able to offer these models “In Stock” much faster than the other retailers that are backlogged with pre-orders. The same appears to be happening at Canon Store and J&R as well.

It is highly recommended that if you are still waiting for your pre-order to arrive, or if you have not placed a pre-order, that you add these retailers to your account for in stock alerting. We expect Best Buy to receive inventory soon on these models and Canon Store and J&R will probably have more too. If getting your hands on the Canon 1D X is top priority, then by all means make sure to add these new retailers to your account.

Here are all of the retailers we are currently tracking for the Canon 1D X: Adorama, Amazon, B&H Photo, Best Buy, Canon Store, J&R, Samy’s Camera, Unique Photo. All retailers are Authorized Nikon Resellers and we only ever track USA models, not grey market, to ensure that the items you are alerted on are warranty protected.

Canon 1D C Added to Canon 1D Tracker

On a side note, if you are or know someone is interested in picking up the Canon 1D C, we have added tracking for this model from B&H Photo. It appears that B&H Photo might be the only retailer that may be selling this camera. At least of the retailers we can track.

We are a free web service that alerts you when hard-to-find items are in stock and available for purchase. If you do not have an account, please register, then add the items you want alerted on to your account. We will alert you via TXT, email, browser or desktop alerts when we see the items in your account in stock. It’s free and simple!

Canon 5D Mark III Price Drops Already Starting?

Monday, July 23rd, 2012

Well… if you weren’t already aware, which would be hard-to-believe if you are into photography, the Canon 5D Mark III is clearly not selling as well as the Nikon D800. Between sub-par reviews from both camera sites as well as the photography community in general, coupled with a MSRP price ($3,499.99 body/$4,299.99 kit) that is $500 higher than the super hot Nikon D800 ($2,999.99), it could be determined that retailers might be getting a bit nervous holding so much inventory, in particular, Best Buy.

Canon Rebel T4i with 18-135 STM Lens In Stock

Monday, July 23rd, 2012

Once again, Best Buy comes through being the first retailer to show stock available for the Canon Rebel T4i Kit with the 18-135mm STM lens. First shown in stock on the 18th of July, this marks the first retailer (which we are tracking) to officially show this camera with an “In Stock” status next to it (at Best Buy, in stock means: “Usually leaves our warehouse in 1 business day”).

If you have been waiting for this Rebel T4i kit to rear its head just because you wanted that 18-135mm STM lens, then you can head over to our tracker to see if stock is still available for purchase.

New Panasonic PZ200 Super-Zoom Advanced Point & Shoot Announced

Wednesday, July 18th, 2012

Panasonic FZ200

Panasonic has just announced their latest super-zoom advanced Point & Shoot camera the FZ200. While Panasonic did not increase the overall focal range on this model from its predecessor the FZ150, it did up the ante with the major highlight being the fact that this new model has a static aperture of 2.8 across the entire focal range of 4.5mm to 108mm ASPH (35mm equivalent of 25mm-600mm). With the FZ150 being widely regarded as the best model in this segment of the camera market, we anxiously await the reviews to see if this new model can retain this same status.

If you want to be alerted when FZ200 pre-orders are available or when the FZ200 is in stock, then be sure to head over to our FZ200 In Stock Tracker. Sign up for our FREE alerts and as soon as we see stock available we will alert you via TXT, email, or browser alerts.
