I just finished adding a new TXT alert feature to NowInStock.net. You now have the option of receiving TXT alerts in addition to the other alert options. This will work especially good for those of you who have smart phones and can order directly via your mobile browsers. Those that do not have smart phones can still benefit by not having to be in front of your computer all the time checking your emails or browser alerts.
Some VERY important items to note about this alert method:
FEES:
Fees from your mobile carrier will apply. NowInStock.net does NOT charge for this service, but your carrier MAY CHARGE you for each TXT alert. It is your responsibility to know the plan you are using and the fees associated with it.
SUBSCRIBING/UNSUBSCRIBING Alerts:
In order to subscribe or unsubscribe to/from alerts you will need to login to your account and TURN ON/OFF the alerts for each item just as the email alerts do. In order to safeguard your account, newly added items will need to have the TXT alerts option TURN ON before you will receive them. Conversely, all items you no longer want TXT alerted on will need to be TURN OFF from within your account. DO NOT attempt to unsubscribe by responding to TXT alerts with “Remove” or “Stop”, it will NOT work.
BETA TEST:
This is a BETA test. I expect feedback over the next few months to iron out any kinks that may arise. Please take some time and let me know where things are not working properly. I believe everything is working properly, but it would be a gross assumption to assume everything was working properly. As a result, please DO take a minute and visit our contact form to provide some feedback on the system. Good or bad, please let me know.
NON-SHORT CODE METHOD:
Without going into too much detail, typically when you receive or send TXT messages, they are sent via short code format. Short codes are the numbers where you send the message to. Example: “TXT ‘win’ to 123456 for a chance to win a free vacation.” I DO NOT use these short codes. They are way too expensive for me to implement, as a result, I have opted to use TXT messages sent via email.
This means TXT alerts will be sent to [yourNumber]@vtext.com for Verizon users. The last portion is determined when you choose your carrier when signing up. This methodology is not as classy, but does the job in my own personal tests.
Hopefully all kinks will be worked out prior to this holiday season and the TXT alerts will be ready to help all of us score the Microsoft Kinect or what ever else is hot this season.
To sign up for TXT alerts, please login to your account at NowInStock.net. On the left hand side of the page you will see the option to activate TXT alerts. Follow the instructions and you will be receiving TXT alerts in no time.

I just got finished updating the Xbox 360 Elite Tracker to include the latest release from Microsoft, the new 250GB Elite slimed-down version of the console. Nice to see that Microsoft finally added the Wi-Fi to the console as well. No more need to drop $100 in order to have a wireless enable Xbox 360! At any rate, if you are having trouble locating this new model, since the first shipments of stock seem to have been rapidly consumed, then make sure you create an account, and add this item to your alerts. You can visit the Xbox 360 Elite Tracker, register here, or add the alerts to your account.
I will also be adjusting the frequency of which this tracker refreshes according to the demand. So, the more users we get signed up for these alerts, the further the dial will be turned up, so SPREAD THE WORD!

EXPIRED: This deal has since expired. However, if you were lucky enough to purchase, there is a rebate where you can get an extra $10 off which would have dropped your price to $84.99!
Once again, Amazon has the Hitachi C10FCE2 10-inch miter saw on sale for only $94.99. The typical price of this unit is around $150, and very rarely goes below the $100 price point. Consider yourself lucky if you are reading this post and need a miter saw. You will be hard pressed to find this unit cheaper than it current price. Heck, if you need a Father’s Day gift, this could be your ticket. This saw has 87 reviews and gets 4.5 stars, so a lot of other people must think it is worth something.
Purchase this Hitachi 10-inch Miter Saw now >

Are you serious? This is one heck of an endorsement for the Canon. The season finale of one of the best shows on television, “House” on FOX, was filmed solely with the Canon 5D Mark II pro-sumer digital SLR.
I have seen some other shorts filmed on the 5D, and they looked awesome, but to film an entire episode of one of the top shows on television with one truly blows me away. To learn more about the filming, read this article over at PetaPixel which also includes a minor Q&A with director Greg Yaitanes.
If you want to try you hand at being your own director, then be sure to get your hands on the same camera they used with shooting “House” from within our Canon 5D Mark II Tracker.

Two brand new trackers were released this week for CPUs or computer processors. We launched both an Intel CPU In Stock Tracker and an AMD CPU In Stock Tracker.
Both of these trackers are currently tracking a variety of products, including items that are hot and items that are not so hot but should give a nice price monitoring aspect. I launched these basically as future-proof trackers in case something comes along in either line that is extremely hot.
Currently the AMD tracker is eagerly awaiting the release of the AMD Phenom X6 processor series which is to release this spring. The Intel Tracker is tracking all Core i7 series processors.
If at any point you need notified on any particular processor in either line which we are not currently tracking, just send in a product suggestion and I will be more than happy to add it.
If you want alerted on the AMD Phenom X6 processors, register for an account if you haven’t already, then add the items you want alerts on.
Good luck to all!

All I can say is wow! This Dyson vacuum is selling at a stellar price right now at Buy.com. It is not the exact version as the standard Yellow DC24 All Floors; it is even better! It appears to be the same exact model as the DC24, except this limited edition model comes with the Flat Out Head tool which will help when doing steps and it is white in color. If you are in need of a new vacuum and are questioning which model to get, this Dyson model will do the trick. Not to mention at $299.99 plus FREE shipping, it is at least $70 cheaper than the standard Yellow DC24. Buy this Dyson Ball DC24 Blueprint >
Amazon – DC24 Yellow All Floors – $370.54
